Griffiths joins the Rebels after completing an outstanding career at Valley High school in Orderville. Utah. She has been on the Desert News and Salt Lake Tribune First Team All-State since her sophomore year. She was named KUTV player of the week during the 2006-2007 season. She averaged 18 points. 6 steals. 5 rebounds. and 4 assists per game this past season. She currently holds some basketball records in the state of Utah. Griffiths is third for steals in one season (158). second place in steals in her career (431). and tied for fifth for most post scored in one quarter (18). Sammi is the daughter of Lucille and Terry Griffiths and her major is undecided.
