At Utah Tech 2022 (RS-Junior): Played in 10 of the Trailblazers 11 games ... had a pair of tackles against Chadron State ... earned Academic All-WAC honors.
At Utah Tech 2022 (Junior): Moves from tight end to defensive line this season.
At Dixie State Fall 2021 (COVID-Sophomore): Moved from offensive line to tight end and started in six of eight games he appeared in … finished with four receptions for 30 yards and one touchdown … caught his first collegiate TD pass at UC Davis (9/18).
At Dixie State Spring 2021 (Sophomore): Played in three of five spring games … was part of an offensive line that averaged 420.8 ypg (122.4 rush/game), and surrendered only six total sacks in 194 total pass attempts … also played tight end in the Kennesaw State game (3/20).
At Dixie State 2019 (Redshirt Freshman): Started in five of six games played ... was part of a Trailblazer offensive line that helped Dixie State rack up over 5,000 yards of total offense (5,008 – 455.3 yards per game), which included 3,378 yards (307.1 ypg) through the air and another 1,630 yards (148.2 ypg) on the ground.
At Dixie State 2018 (Freshman): Sat out the season as a redshirt.
At Bingham High School: Helped the Miners to the 2017 Utah 6A state title … earned All-Region honors … graduated in May 2018.
Personal: Born in The Bronx, New York … parents are Leo Alvarez and Claribel Tejada … also recruited by Southern Utah, Wagner, William Penn, Tabor College and SUNY Maritime ... currently majoring in business.
