With the draw, UT earned its first point in WAC play this season. Short notched his fifth career shutout and first this season on five saves. With the shutout, Short moves up to tie for the fourth-most career clean sheets in UT history. San José State outshot the Trailblazers 17-8, with a 5-2 advantage in shots on goal. SCOUTING SEATTLE U
The Redhawks host Utah Tech after drawing with UNLV 1-1 on Thursday. SU's other conference games so far have resulted in wins at Utah Valley (2-1) and at Air Force (2-0). Seattle U also picked up wins against South Florida, San Francisco, and CSUN during non-conference play.

Offensively, Seattle U is led by graduate Titus Washington who is tied for third in the WAC and 34th in the nation with six goals this year. Washington also ranks fourth in the conference and tied for 45th in the country with his 14 points this season. Washington has scored one goal in both of his last two matches.
