In addition, Utah Tech swept the top-two spots in the 400 free relay, with the team of Benson, Rembert, Zmierczak and Farnum picking up the win in a time of 3:34.41.
Â
"This was a great first meet for our ladies," said Shawn King, who was victorious in his debut as Utah Tech head coach. "USD was an excellent host and we felt prepared for the opportunity to race. Our team has put in great work to prepare for the season. They are an inspiring group to coach and their commitment and dedication showed in their performance today."
Utah Tech will close out the 2023 portion of its season slate by hosting the Third-Annual Trailblazer Invitational, which will be held Nov. 16-18, at the UT HPC Pool.Â
