Kickoff is set for 12 p.m. Pacific Time (1 p.m. MT), as the Red Storm (3-6, 2-3) and Wildcats (4-5, 2-3) battle to determine which team will finish at .500 in Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC) action. Live audio coverage is scheduled on radio (ESPN Sports Radio 97.7 FM) and Internet (SouthernUtahLive.com), with Keric Seegmiller providing play-by-play.

LAST MEETING: Sept. 10, 2015. Dixie State rushed for a school-record 404 yards and six touchdowns as the Storm ran past Central Washington, 49-20, in a non-conference matchup at Hansen Stadium. Senior running back DeJon Coleman (Los Angeles, Calif./Arleta HS) led the attack, rushing for 125 yards and three touchdowns on 14 carries. Freshman quarterback Blake Barney (St. George, Utah/Dixie HS) added 95 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries. Senior linebacker Robert Metz (Tucson, Ariz./Canyon Del Oro HS) led the defense with nine tackles.

ALL-TIME VS. CWU: Saturday's game marks the 16th meeting between Dixie State and Central Washington. The two teams first met at Hansen Stadium in St. George on Aug. 30, 2008, with CWU grabbing a 44-38 victory. The Wildcats went on to win the next seven games between the teams, and DSU recorded its first win in the series at home on Oct. 6, 2012, outlasting CWU 29-21. The Wildcats lead the series 13-2, including a 7-0 mark at Tomlinson Stadium.

2015 SEASON AND GNAC FINALE: Dixie State enters the game with a 1-8 record in season finales. The Storm recorded their only season-ending victory on Nov. 8, 2008, a 19-15 victory at Humboldt State. Saturday's game also marks the finale of Dixie State's membership in the GNAC, as the Storm are set to compete in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) next season. Dixie State has compiled a 16-45 record during its eight seasons in the GNAC, including a 9-22 record at home and a 7-23 mark on the road.

END OF AN ERA: Dixie State announced Monday the resignation of Head Coach Scott Brumfield, who will step down as head coach after Saturday's game at Central Washington. Brumfield, who played at Dixie State, BYU, and for the Cincinnati Bengals prior to coaching at DSU, spent 10 years total with the Red Storm and six years as head coach. He has compiled a 14-49 record heading into Saturday's game.
